David and Goliath are figures of a well-known tale in the Bible (1 Samuel 17, in most English language versions), wherein David, an Israelite shepherd-boy and future King of Israel, uses only his sling to battle the man-giant Goliath. In their fight he slings a single stone, striking Goliath in the forehead. Goliath was a giant Philistine warrior pitted against any
Israelite that would challenge him. It is a great story of faith as David stepped forth to do this with no military weapon while the Jewish warriors in armor were too frightened. Your host, Binary Mouse, introduces Your Virtual World's Campfire Tales Series in the online version.
